Intro

I'm Chad Coulter, a rising educator who has worked in a variety of roles within the city as an educator in afterschool, summer, and regular instruction in a plethora of classrooms. I have a deep passion for American History, Economic Philosophies, and Contemporary Fiction.

I graduate from NYU in May of 2026 and will be receiving my certification for Social Studies 7-12 at the same time, and I hope to become a full time teacher this school year. I have loved my time working in Middle and High Schools in the Bronx and Manhattan and the amazing connections that I have been able to make with students, and hope to keep making more.

Student, 11th Grade

He has many talents, great in historical advice and explaining what to do better and how to do it well. He explained it very well to me and I got it right away and even recalled the information later during the exam.

I loved when Mr.Chad was my teacher! he was super funny and helped re-engage my class and I, he would always make sure I understood and really absorbed what I was being taught. He made what I expected to be a hard class to get into (Ap Us history) into a smooth and enjoyable transition and I grew to love the class!! I really miss him as a teacher but I know he'll be amazing at any school he goes to!

As a student its really important that not only am I learning but that my teacher understands what I need and over the past 14 weeks Mr. Coulter has done just that. He took the time to help me and made sure I understood what we were learning. He also makes learning fun, not in a distracting way but in an engaging way that makes me look forward to coming to school everyday. He is all round a good teacher and his presence is really fun to be around.
